BA welcomed the offer, “On behalf of our clients, we are very pleased with the strike threat has risen and we’ve reached a point where we can put this dispute behind us,” said a spokesman.

“Our agreement with Unite imply endorsement by the union that the structural changes of cost savings we have made in the operations of the cabin crew are permanent.

“We have also agreed to the changes that modernization of our industrial relations crew and help ensure that such dispute can not happen again.
